Questions we're stuck on

If you have a view on any of these, you could save us a lot of trouble.

  • How do we fairly check results on the other side of the world?Who are the independent checkers, and who pays them?
  • How long should people wait for karma?A school takes years. Will people stay interested, or do we need earlier milestones?
  • Does scoring favour safe projects too much?We don't want everyone piling into easy wins while hard, important work goes unfunded.
  • Could this be gamed?What's to stop a project and its friends quietly boosting each other?
  • Should very small projects be treated differently?A village group can't produce the paperwork of a large NGO, and shouldn't lose out for it.
  • Is US$2 the right amount?Is it easy enough for anyone, anywhere, while still adding up to something?
